iSteam -- True! Though, I doubt they'll call it that...

It's official, Steam is coming to the Mac.  Hit the jump for details (there's not many!):

Valve president Gabe Newell called the Mac "a great platform for entertainment services," adding, "As we transition from entertainment as a product to entertainment as a service, customers and developers need open, high-quality Internet clients."

[...]

"We are treating the Mac as a tier-1 platform so all of our future games will release simultaneously on Windows, Mac, and the Xbox 360,” said director of Steam development, John Cook in a statement.
It's scheduled to go up in April, so all us Mac owners'll be playing Team Fortress 2 and Gary's Moddin' with the best of them soon.  Also, they've promised a simultaneous release of Portal 2 for the PC, Xbox 360, and Mac.

It's a good day.
